ActivInspire is free software for both MAC and PC that allows you to interact with the commbox.
The paid version has extra features however you can interact in a similar way to Chalkbox with this software.

Is a great website that allows you to create interactive pictures for your students. Below is an image of what it can look like however here is the link if you want to see it live

To get started:
- Go to the website and create a free account.
- Click CREATE and upload an image
- Click on the image and type your text.
- Save the image and you will be provided with a link to give to your students.
You can use the COMMBOX and allow the students to interact with the image.
The link can also be added to SEQTA to allow students to interact with the image on their ipad
Calibration for new MAC’s
Unfortunately if you have a new Notebook for teachers that is a MAC computer needs to be calibrated with some new settings.
Please book an appointment with me so I can set up some new software on your MAC and re-calibrate your settings.

Teachers can share the board with their students using the collaboration button, click share this board and then give the students the generated web address.

Kahoot is a great way to engage your students, test knowledge and have fun! Simply create an account to access millions of existing games or customise student learning by creating your own quiz.

Answer Garden – Class brainstorming tool
Answer garden is a great tool that allows students to contribute to a brainstorm using their iPads.
The teacher creates and answer garden setting the parameters including word limit etc.
Students use the answer garden ID and they can all participate.
NOTE: Some students use this tool to place inappropriate answers, however you can easily delete them before displaying the answer garden to the class. You have to regularly refresh your page to see all the answers. Continue reading
Chalk box for COMMBOX
THIS IS ONLY AVAILABLE FOR PC USERS
Not only is the COMMBOX useful as a display screen but it has many interactive purposes. To active the touch component of the COMMBOX a USB to USB cable is required to connect your device to the screen.
Chalk board is one of the aspects that the interactive aspects of the COMMBOX can be used for.
